Over the years, our Country Care Connections team has strived to provide exceptional support to people with psychosocial disabilities, enabling them to live fulfilling and independent lives. So it is with heavy hearts that we announce Rural & Remote Mental Health’s decision to stop providing NDIS services from 28 July 2023.
This decision was not taken lightly and we understand the impact it may have on our clients and staff. But we are committed to making the transition as smooth as possible and the Country Care Connections team will work with participants to help them identify and connect with suitable service providers. More information is available on our Services page, including a list of local service providers which will be updated as we progress through the transition.
Acting CEO Nathan Mercurio expressed his deep gratitude to Country Care Connections’ clients.
“We have been enriched by the relationships we have built and the impact we have made on people’s lives. I want to thank our NDIS participants for their understanding, support, and trust over the years. It has been an honour to be part of their journey.”
Rural & Remote Mental Health will no longer trade as Country Care Connections but will continue to provide Commonwealth Psychosocial Support (CPS) services in the Darling Downs West Moreton PHN area. CPS supports remain available in Western Downs, Goondiwindi and South Burnett.
